On December 13, 2016 at 22:00 Moscow time (11:00 PST) in Los Angeles a fashion show of young designers Authentic Radicalism will start, which is held by Not Just a Label (NJAL).
Not Just a Label (NJAL) – Internet platform which helps young designers to move in the world of fashion. Their aim – to find and support new designers of contemporary fashion. NJAL was founded in 2008 by Stephen Siegel, and originally it was just a union of designers. In 2009 at site appeared online shop, where designers can sell their collections with a minimum extra charge in this chain NJAL serves a global intermediary between the buyer and designer as well as an assistant in the promotion of the collection. Because NJAL does not rent warehouses and premises for shops, they charge a minimum percentage for their services, that helps young designers to find a niche and gain popularity quickly. Now NJAL also involved in counseling large brands and government agencies, and represents more than 24 000 designers from 150 countries.
At the event panel discussion is expected, moderated by well-known critic of fashion Booth Moore. At the panel discussion it is planned to discuss new models of working in the fashion industry, innovation and modern creative approaches that will shape the future of the fashion world. The discussion will be streamed online and viewers will be able to ask questions via Twitter.
By its event NJAL wants to focus attention on the need to discuss the current state of of the fashion world in Los Angeles, to identify future of the city as a key industrial center, as well as to rethink the place of Los Angeles in the fashion industry.
