Concept electric Jaguar I-Pace will be represented at Geneva Motor show on March 7, 2017. Sales of cars will begin in 2018, but Russian customers can already place an online pre-order for the premium electric crossover.
Jaguar I-Pace belongs to the segment of mid-size electric crossovers. Experts believe that it will become the main competitor of electric Tesla Model X, whose sales will begin in 2018 year too.
Jaguar’s design director Ian Callum said that the new product combines the appearance of a supercar, dynamics of sports car, the internal space of the SUV, and zero emissions.
I-Pace is equipped with all-wheel drive system and two electric motors (one front and one rear) with a total capacity of 400 HP. A 0-60mph time is around four seconds. The battery charge allows to drive 500 km. Charging is easy and quick, with 80 percent charge achieved in 90 minutes and 100 per cent in just over two hours.
According to the Russian Rep.office of the brand, today customers can express their desire to buy a car and become the first owners of luxury electric cars, by completing the application form on the website jaguar.ru.
