According to European Automobile Manufactures Association (ACEA), in 2016 year, Honda showed the fastest growing of automotive sales in European Union and ETFA countries – 20.8%, with overall sales of 159`126 vehicles.

Honda saw sales growth in all five of the main car markets in Europe in 2016 (UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain). The best performance was demonstrated by HR-V, Jazz and Civic. Sales success for Honda Motor Europe in 2016 was bolstered by a number of significant news announcements like launch of all-new Honda Civic hatchback.
