Big hall of Moscow conservatoire invites for 3 musical programmes for lovers of different music genres.
Fans of jazz are invited on June 16-24 for Summer jazz festival «Solo, in duet and with orchester». It is managed by Grigory Fine, musician, president of club «friends of jazz» and author of books about jazz improvisation. He will open the festival on June 16 with jazz programme. On June 18 a number of jazz musicians will play «jazz duel», and on June 24 the event will be closed with participance of Sympony Orchestre of Moscow conservatoire students.
For those, who loves valses of Strauss, Ravel, Chaikovsky… and military marches, on June 20 -July 06 will take place Festival of symphony and и brass bands «Summer valse», where famous civil and military musicians will represent military and classical marches and valsed. In programme there are 4 conserts: on June 20, 27 and July 01, 06, where participate Exemplary military orchestra of the guard of honor, Symphony orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory, the Central military orchestra of Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Symphony orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory.
Vocal classical music performed by people’s artist of the USSR Zurab Sotkilava will feature 22 Jun 2016. It is dedicated to the great Patriotic war. Larisa Bunakova (piano) and Men’s group Chamber choir of the Moscow Conservatory and the Tula state chorus accompany the singer. The program will include songs of Wolf to the words of Heine, three romances by S. Rakhmaninov, “Songs and dances of death” by M. Mussorgsky, Schubert, Liszt and Georgian songs by Taktakishvili.
