On May 28 and 31, 2016 Museum of Fine Arts after Pushkin in Moscow was celebrated his birthday. It appeared on May 31, 1912, when it was first opened to the public under the name “Museum of fine arts named after Emperor Alexander III at the Moscow Imperial University”.
The celebration, traditionally for the Museum, was decorated with thematic exhibitions, guided tours of the exhibition by Museum curators and famous people of different professions (the so-called “star tours”) and lectures. The event reflected the different exhibition and education aspects of the Museum that conducts exhibitions, research, lectures is to familiarize you with the world’s artistic culture, holds plays and musical evenings.
