The most profitable brand in the world – Porsche continues to move according to its strategy of sustainable development. Adopted by the company’s “Strategy 2018” includes launch of new models, offer to customers a bright events and a unique experience of owning a car, as well as the opening of new dealerships.
In the near future Porsche Russia continues to open dealerships in the regions. According to Oksana Khartonuk, PR & Press Director, in 2017 it is expected to open new full-size dealerships with sales and after-sales services in Voronezh, Samara, St. Petersburg, and Ufa.
According to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), 4’304 new Porsche cars were sold in Russia in January-November 2016. It is 11% less than during the same period of 2015. However, sales results can be positively considered, due to a whole Russian automotive market fell by 12% for the same period. International sales of the brand amounted to 237’778 vehicles in 2016 year (+6% by 2015).
A new Porsche dealer – “Alt-Park” appeared in Novosibirsk in the end of December 2016. It replaced the former “Euro-Sport Motors” (belongs to GC “SLK-Motors”), through its absorption. At first GK “Alt-Park” acquired “Euro Sport motors”, taking on debt obligations of creditors, and in late December signed a dealer agreement with the distributor. Unfortunately, this favorable outcome was not waiting for all companies, so 2 dealer contracts were terminated in Magnitogorsk and Stavropol in 2016.
Now Porsche is represented by 19 dealers with 2 showrooms and 2 service centers in Russia.
By the way, in November 2016, the company announced a new program for sustainable development “Strategy 2025”. The main objective is to achieve value-generating growth. Only by achieving such growth Porsche AG can make sustainable investments in innovative technologies, new products, and most importantly, in its team.
