The Russian government will support the enterprises’ modernization of light industry of the country. For this purpose 0.5 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget. The money will compensate the costs of acquisition in leasing equipment for investment projects. The support will be in the form of a 30% reduction of prepayment on leasing followed by a return of the sum to the leasing organizations. First of all, this program will concern leather industries, weaving mills and textile factories. This is due to the fact that these companies have already had the investment projects or such projects are being completed.
