On October 14, 2014 law, earlier approved by State Duma and Counsil of Federation, was signed. It concerned limitation of foreign ownership of the Russian Media. Starting from January 01, 2016 shares of foreign companies in TV and publishing houses of Russia will not exceed 20% and correspondong information on share holders must be given till February 15, 2016; from 2017 the same will be forced to do media with 80% and more Russian ownership. // Moscow // 16/10/2014, Source: Kommercant
