During its 36 season and on the 18 year of its existence, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will show more than 60 local designers in the gallery “Manege” in Moscow from 12 to 17 March 2017. These creators of fashion will represent Russian, Ukrainian, Georgian, Italian and other design schools.
At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will take place debuts of such designers, as Alexandr Rogov, Anastasia Dokuchaeva and Sensus Couture. Along with this, latest achievements of design will unveil Slava Zaitsev, Igor Gulyaev, Yasya Minochkina, Julia Nikolaeva, Julia Dalakian, Dimaneu, Saint-Tokyo, Artem Shumov, Marusya house Garson. The most popular Russian designers are permanent participants of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. The event will be traditionally visited by foreign designers and celebrities.
The purpose of the shows was and remains: “to find new names to give designers new opportunities, to promote Russian fashion within the country and abroad”, – says producer and creator of the Fashion Week Alexander Shumsky. The convergence of designers with the Russian Industrialists and performance of local designers at Fashion Week is supported by the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia (Minpromtorg).
The opening of the Fashion Week is the traditional Children’s fashion show. In addition to demonstrations of collections autumn-winter of 2017-2018 the Week includes a professional events. For example, it will host an international conference Fashion Futurum (16-17 March) and online voting for the participants of the contest “New names in design-2017”.
The company Mercedes-Benz from 2011 supports this event and sets the rules in the Russian fashion field, It is done not only in order to help fashion Russia, but also to promote new models. In the spring of 2017, the company shows its new model – a sports coupe E-Class.
Mercedes-Benz E-class coupe belongs to the class of the large executive coupe. New generation is already the ninth one. Its predecessor were sold in Russia from 2009 to 2016. Stylish sports coupe is equipped with 2.0 (184, 245 HP) petrol engines paired with rear-wheel drive, more powerful version with 3.0 (333 HP) motor equipped with all-wheel drive system. The cost of new items in the basic version is 3’240’000-4’870’000 RUB. Its competitors are BMW 6-series Gran coupe (the price – from 4’780’000-5’660’000 RUB) and Lexus LC (from 7’886’000 RUB).
