In the British cities of London, Cardiff and Birmingham with the Mariinsky theatre under conductor Valery Gergiev, from 02 to 09 Nov 2014 will present the Opera “betrothal in a monastery” S. Prokofiev’s “Boris Godunov” by Modest Mussorgsky and “Lefty” Rodion Shchedrin.
The performance of “Lefties” will be the European premiere. In addition to the Russian works, to the audience brought a full cycle of Wagner’s tetralogy the “Ring des Nibelungen” concept by Valery Gergiev and George Tsypin. “Das Rheingold” will be performed with the participation of English bass descent from Jamaica Willard white (Willard White).
