U.S. retailer Walmart, in partnership with CarSaver and large dealer holdings launches a project of selling cars in its stores. The launch is scheduled for 01 April 2017. If all goes according to the plan, in 2 years you can buy new or used car in every supermarket of Walmart.
CarSaver platform allows buyers to choose a new or used car and apply for financing and insurance. The entire procedure can go at the website or by calling an 800 number. In most states CarSaver receives $350 for each car it helps sell.
At the beginning Walmart will host CarSaver kiosks inside 25 of its supercenters, where the a buyer can choose a car, financial services and insurance. To complete the transaction, the customer will be directed to the dealership where the vehicle was chosen. Key partners in this project are AutoNation – the largest retailer of new vehicles in the US and the Ally Financial credit company.
